Barbara Ketley

CEO

Barbara is the Founder, CEO and Creative Director of Milestone-Belanova. She is responsible for strategic marketing, campaign development and creative direction for the agency. With an honours degree in Management and Law and over 30 years’ experience in marketing, Barbara combines her strategic skills with creative talent to deliver innovative marketing concepts that achieve results.

Barbara spent the first 10 years of her career in senior marketing roles in high profile companies such as National & General (NAB), Zurich, HCF and FAI Group. During this time, she was responsible for national marketing and advertising campaigns, repositioning programs, direct marketing, market research, marketing services and analysis.

Around 20 years ago, Barbara chose to leave the corporate marketing world to start her own agency on the NSW Central Coast. Since then, she has grown and diversified the business to deliver a full service solution to clients across Australia and New Zealand.

Karl Ketley

General Manager

With 25 years’ experience in Information Technology, 22 of which was obtained at Westpac, Karl joined the Milestone-Belanova team in 2011 to head the growing digital media division. Since then, he has led the team in expanding our range of digital marketing services from web and platform development to digital marketing, SEO/SEM, social media, marketing automation and app development, ensuring Milestone-Belanova stays at the forefront of the everchanging digital media space.

More recently, Karl has taken on the role of General Manager, taking care of the agency’s operations to ensure we deliver client work on time and to a quality that exceeds our clients’ expectations.
 

Janice Wells

Office Manager

Janice is our Office Manager and senior Account Manager. Having been with the agency for over 15 years, Janice is highly experienced in client service, media and supplier management. An outstanding communicator, she is exceptionally skilled at researching, sourcing and costing anything required for the execution of marketing and advertising programs.

Janice’s credentials before joining Milestone-Belanova originate from the Banking industry in the training and personnel departments. This highly structured and “people-focused” background has proven to be a solid foundation for her role in building relationships with media, suppliers and third parties who are beneficial to our clients’ growth objectives.

Sam Ketley

Administration & Marketing Assistant

Sam assists the team on a part-time basis while studying for a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science at UTS. He is primarily focused on internal communications and performance management, ensuring Work In Progress tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner. He also assists with research, digital population and collation of data required for project delivery.

Lisa Hewson

Web Developer

As a full stack developer, Lisa is a key member of our web development and digital team. She came to Milestone-Belanova with tertiary distinctions in web development and has over 10 years’ experience in developing custom websites, emarketing campaigns and digital media programs.

Lisa is an excellent communicator who has a talent for assisting clients in understanding web and digital marketing technology. She is particularly skilled at search engine optimisation and has a keen eye for front end development. She was also responsible for the concepting and build of our Web Books platform.

Alex Ketley

Web & Digital Media Developer

Alex has a Bachelor of IT from Newcastle University with a major in Entertainment and Digital Media. A prolific researcher with a passion for emerging technologies, Alex brings a deep understanding of the latest languages, frameworks and libraries to the team. He is a full stack developer with particular expertise in platform development, server management and back end coding.

Alex was a pivotal team member in the redevelopment of the Web Books platform and is now our lead Web Books developer and trainer. He is also talented in video editing, audio production, animation and 3D renders.

Samuel Mereau

Web Developer

Sam is a talented young web and digital developer with a Diploma in Web Development from Hornsby TAFE. He has a wide range of skills across both front end and back end development plus experience in digital marketing platforms. Sam’s passion for emerging technologies brings fresh ideas and new methodologies to regular team discussions.

Ryan Johnson

Web Developer

Ryan has been working with Milestone-Belanova since 2019 when he played a significant role in the frontend development of the sophisticated Web Books platform. He has experience across both front and back end development as well as advanced skills in content creation for digital marketing programs.

Beryl Seckington

Test Manager

Beryl has over 30 years’ experience as a software developer, programmer, business analyst and test manager for major organisations such as the Commonwealth Bank, Woolworths and Kalamazoo. She is responsible for the testing of all our major platforms, portals and websites.

Chantelle Simpson

Graphic Designer

Chantelle is a highly creative designer who is always building her skillset, first completing a Diploma of Game Design at Newcastle TAFE before going on to complete a Diploma of Graphic Design at Hornsby TAFE.

Previously working as an in-house graphic designer, Chantelle gained experience in a wide range of print, advertising, digital and production applications before joining the Milestone-Belanova team in 2023. As a specialist in digital design, illustration and 3D design, Chantelle is passionate about learning new trends and technologies to continuously expand her design skillsets. She is an accomplished brand designer who is also adept at designing in line with strict brand standards from a diverse range of sectors.

Tristan Jon

Graphic Designer

Tristan recently joined the Milestone-Belanova team with a Diploma in Graphic Design from the Australian College of Business Intelligence.

Tristan has a diverse range of design experience having worked for a number of SME’s, including apparel brands, in addition to web design agencies where he became well versed in all areas of digital design.

Through his previous studies and roles, Tristan has developed a passion for illustration, graphic and web design and video editing. He joined the Milestone-Belanova team as an accomplished designer with over 7 years’ experience and has already become an integral part of our team.

Katia Lobzina

Graphic Designer

Katia graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Design with Honours from University of NSW. Before joining Milestone-Belanova, Katia held a senior role as Print Manager and Graphic Designer for a leading printing operation. She also gained extensive experience in digital and app design through a previous role in a web development company.

Katia has particular skills in branding, print collateral and digital design, with a focus always on achieving the desired marketing outcome.

Archie

Chief Morale Officer & Door Greeter

For those of you who haven’t already had the privilege of meeting our best looking staff member, meet Archie.

Archie has been a member of the Milestone-Belanova team since 2019 and in that time we have watched him grow (literally) into one of the most mature and polite staff members on our team. He is so focused on the job we barely hear him speak and he’s definitely not one to get involved in office gossip!

We think every office deserves a doggy companion!

Ollie

Junior Door Greeter & Guest Announcer

Ollie Ketley is our youngest member of the team. Ollie is learning the ropes from his appointed mentor Archie, who is displaying an applaudable amount of patience for our most excitable team member.

Ollie is the life of the party here at the Milestone-Belanova. We enjoy his energy, enthusiasm and the injection of cuteness he brings on a day-to-day basis. We believe it’s important to work in an environment which makes you happy and our furry office friends are especially good at putting a smile on your face when you are having a "ruff" day!
